I’m Back!

Well friends, it’s been a minute! The last time I sat down to write a blog post was back in 2022, and honestly, I didn’t realize how much I missed it until recently. Lately, I’ve felt that little tug — the urge to come back to this space and share again. Writing has always been such a joy for me, and I’m excited to lean back into it.

If you’re new here, hi my name is Brittany and first things first — I love Jesus and feel so grateful for the way He guides my heart, protects my family, and leads my life. My faith is the foundation of who I am and how I navigate every season. I’m happily married to my best friend — we’ve known each other since high school, and I thank God every day for the life we get to share together.

I am a South Florida native through and through, born and raised under the sunshine and palm trees. Florida will always be home, though one day I would love to experience living somewhere with true seasons. I know when God gives us that nudge, we’ll follow His lead — but until then, we’re right where He wants us.

I am proudly one of the owners of Palm Beach Sandals, a women’s sandal company and boutique that has truly been an adventure. Owning a small business has been a roller coaster — filled with some of the most exciting accomplishments and also some really hard lows. But through every season, I can look back and clearly see how God was with us through it all, shaping our journey and growing my faith in ways I never expected.

A quick catch-up since we last talked:

  • In 2021 (yes, in the middle of COVID times 😅), we opened our first store in Vero Beach.
  • In 2023, we opened a second in Delray Beach.
  • And by 2024, we added Jupiter to the mix!

Sounds like a dream, right? And in many ways, it was — but the truth is, the economy shifted hard, and some of our plans didn’t unfold the way we thought they would. This year, we made the tough decision to close both our Vero and Delray locations and also moved our factory. Not exactly what I pictured a few years ago, but I keep reminding myself: God’s plan is bigger than mine. Always.

So, where are we now? Palm Beach Sandals is officially rooted in Jupiter, FL (6380 W Indiantown Road, Suite 12, Jupiter, FL 33458) — and honestly, it feels right. I’m excited for what the rest of this year holds, and even more hopeful for what’s to come in 2026.

This blog is my little corner to share not just the business side of things, but also the behind-the-scenes, the faith lessons, and the everyday life moments that inspire me. My hope is that it feels like you’re sitting down with a friend over coffee when you read it. ☕💛

So here we are — back at it, starting fresh, and ready for a new season. Thanks for being here. It means more than I can put into words.

Talk soon!

XOXO

Brittany
