There are so many things that you often face in life that can take you on an emotional roller coaster. I believe that we all have defining moments that happen to us, whether those moments happen quickly, or they happen over a long period of time, they can set us up for success. Something that changed my life is having a relationship with God. When you have a relationship with Jesus Christ, it really changes who you are and how you address each situation.
I am blessed to have a great family and support system that has set me up for success in many situations that I find myself in. I never imagined that I would become a business owner at such a young age! God has truly blessed me in so many ways. As some of you may know, my sister recently went to be with Christ, and it was and still is one of the hardest things that I have ever endured. I think that in times like this, it is pivotal that we turn to Christ to help lift us up and make sure that my sister, Brianna’s legacy is carried on. That is why I am so excited that we are currently working on a line of sandals in her honor that will be featuring everything that she loved! I know that God has a plan for me and that I am on the path that he has paved for my life and that I will continue to put him first. We may not always understand the circumstances that he puts in our path, but it is how we respond to those circumstances that truly define us and can either draw us closer or further from Him.
I have always absolutely loved fashion and anything and everything to do with it. When I started becoming an influencer, I never had any idea that it would become such a huge part of my life. I started working with some local brands and promoting them along with my own business Palm Beach Sandals. Then before I knew it, I was working with larger brands and my following kept rising. I think that people can appreciate when you are authentic and real. I believe that it is important that I continue to grow in my businesses as well as my faith. If you have everything centered around Christ, then it helps put things into perspective. I am excited to continue to grow as an influencer and to try to be a light to a world that often times seems darker than we all would like it to be.
God has done many things in my life up to this point. I am so thankful that I have God in my life and that he continues to help lead me every day. Some days are easier than others, we all know that’s true but when you have a cornerstone like Jesus Christ in your life then it certainly gives you perspective and helps you through even the toughest of times. A quote that I often look to is “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3: 5-6
God has given me so much hope for the future! I feel so blessed that I get to spread the word through blogs like this. God has blessed me with so many earthly things that make me so thankful. The thing that I cannot begin to thank Him enough for is that I have eternal life because he gave His life for me. The future is looking bright and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for my journey!
