My mom and I have always been very close and once I got married we promised each other that we would have our mother-daughter days. Last Friday was one of those special days! I cherish those moments when I get to see my mom. Ever since she was diagnosed with breast cancer and is now a SURVIVER, I always love when we both have time off for a fun day out to lunch and shopping of course!
We stopped for lunch at this cute Bistro in the Palm Beach Gardens Mall. We both ordered a caesar salad and talked about family, Easter plans and planned our next mother-daughter day. To end a delicious lunch we had to top it off with dessert and coffee. After lunch we walked around our favorite mall and stopped into the Loft, Pottery Barn, Anthropology, and yes, Lilly Pulitzer! Our FAVORITE! My mom and I enjoy just trying on clothes so we can go see their gorgeous fitting rooms! The one that we went into was so fun!
My mom was so kind to treat me to a couple things for Easter. The best one is the colorful Lilly Pulitzer dress that is shown in one of the pictures above. I love how bright and colorful it is. My favorite part is the tied detail in the back, it gives the dress its own little personality.
The day was perfect! I am already counting down the days till our next fun outing together!
